La Belle Etoile Rosé
IGP Pays d’Oc
South of France
100 % Grenache
The Langedoc region is home to two big mountain ranges, the Pyrenees and the Cevennes. With the warm Mediterranean climate influence from the coastline on the South, which brings hot and dry summers and the and the cooling winds from the mountain range the vines produce grape ripes packed with fruity full flavours.
The grapes are mechanically harvested during the night, when the temperatures are low, in order to keep the grapes fresh and avoid oxidation. The grapes are immediately pressed. After a 24 hour off-settling, the clear juices are drawn from the tanks and left to ferment for 15 days at a low temperature. The juices are then drawn from the tanks to age on their fine lees for 3 months.
La Belle Etoile Rosé is crisp, dry and perfectly balanced with gentle floral aromas, notes of fresh red fruits and just a hint of zesty acidity. Created to be enjoyed over long lazy lunches under warm Provençal skies, or to get the evening started in true hedonistic style.
